Grouping art in an effective way in a small space
On the first floor, Jane maximized wall space by creating a series of small, functional art groupings. In this particular area she hung, salon style, a series of her own wedding photography nyc photos, to make the area more personal. The citrus color scheme reflects light but is grounded with more sophisticated taupe, black, and gold accents. When you pair this color story with her glossy white frames, the art grouping really sings. To address the low ceilings, she emphasized vertical lines wherever possible: the chains on the sconces, the cord from the pendant lamp, vertical stacks of framed art, the tall bookcases that go all the way to the ceiling. The effect is stunning.
