Wish I would Have Learned to Play Guitar Earlier
Like a lot of adults I had always wanted to learn guitar. It had been something I had wanted to do since I was a teenager. I had a guitar that collected dust in the corner and it rarely got used, only when friends who could play would stop by.
It was a little less then a year ago I finally decided why the hell don’t I learn to play. I knew I wasn’t going to fork out the cash for private lessons but I had seen ads for a learn guitar dvd several times on facebook. I decided to try and find that ad.
I ended up not getting the exact course I saw advertised but one similar. It cost me about a tenth the cost of what private lessons would have been. Sure I have my good weeks and bad weeks where I play a lot or barely at all, but it’s fun being in charge of how quickly I learn. It’s a great experience to when friends come over and I can share with them my new found hobby. I only wish I had taken the time to try and learn to play earlier in life.
