Being a headhunter has never been an easy gig. Finding and usually stealing good talent for your client is a challenge and a half. The best headhunters are those who know how to grasp what a client company needs. In other words, who is it you’re out there trying to recruit? From there finding the talent lies in networking networking networking. As a headhunter you are never going to meet the talent if you don’t get yourself out there networking with the right people. There is always the option of getting on someone’s LinkedIn list to meet your ‘talent’ but not only is that practice frowned upon, it is also a quite boring way to meet people.
