FaceBook Privacy Now an Issue
Facebook, a social network that began in order to keep people connected, has now turned into a new source of finding out personal information. Some use Facebookto meet new people and network while others use it to keep in touch with friends they already have. Jobs are now looking at new applicant’s pages to determine what type of person they are. It is like a public resume for the world to see except your everyday lives are also on display. As a college network site I think it was an extremely positive thing, now that the entire world is able to access it, it seems to have become an issue on privacy. One should not be judged on what their friends are posting on walls or the type of groups they are joining and the things that they “like”, but they are.
