There are so many financial decisions you have to make once you are in charge of your own money. What do you claim on your W-2? Do you open up an IRA if your job doesn’t have a retirement plan? Should you save for your kid’s college? Is it better to keep renting or buy a house? Once you have a house you need to decide whether you want title insurance and mortgage insurance. Then later on you might need to figure out whether mortgage refinancing makes sense for you. When you file your taxes you have to decide to do it yourself, use a tax program, or hire someone to do it. The decisions are endless.
