The popularity of CFD’s for traders and investors
An exchange traded fund is a great way to gain exposure to a basket of securities that represent a particular sector or economic region. ETF’s are traded on many exchangers around the world but a higher concentration is based in the US. In Australia, contracts for difference are a popular investment vehicle. A new initiative that is being introduced is a CFD of popular exchange traded funds. This permits investors to gain leveraged exposure to such regions as China, Japan and select emerging markets. CFD’s are a useful tool for traders and investors to capitalize on short term and long term moves.
