Positives and negatives of PDR

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

Generally speaking this is a very fast repair. With paintless dent repair, you won’t be at the shop all day. You won’t have to have your car repainted and the integrity of the car stays in tact, because you don’t have to change the look of the car. The few minor drawbacks are they don’t address the scratches or small chips in the paint that may also be a part of the damage. Some areas like the bumpers may not be able to be fixed by this technique because they are plastic. Check with your shop to see whether they can repair your type of damage.

We Found Our European auto repair Online!

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

When my husband came home after work one day and informed me that he had a really big surprise for me, I hardly knew what to think.  He insisted on putting a blindfold over my eyes, tucked me into the car and off we went.  When we arrived, he let me see my present: I got to choose my own new car! When I needed a routine maintenance check up, I searched online and found a shop that does European auto repair right near my hometown.  I was really thrilled with the service they gave me, and how well my car runs.

How the Aptera Works

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Because of the dangers of global warming, emission standards were set by the government for all means of transportation specially land vehicles like cars.  The fuel crisis also was an event that brought about the signing of the energy bill in 2007 that mandated car manufacturers to produce fuel-efficient vehicles.  Thus, Aptera Motors, a privately owned company made a big leap by designing a three-wheeled, two-passenger protoype called Aptera 2e which they aim can to run 300 miles per gallon of gasoline.  Presently, the car industry average of runs at 35 miles per gallon.  Aptera’s physical looks is a cross between a dolphin and a helicopter.

LHD Cars Easier To Drive On Right Side Road Driving

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

The history of roads that feature driving on the left side of the highway, versus driving on the right side, is quite interesting to say the least. In the past, horses and carriages determined which side of the road travelers were to drive on. Today however, over seventy percent of all the roads on the globe require driving on the right hand side of the road, with a left hand drive vehicle. This is just one reason why many more people are purchasing lhd cars, so that they can drive more safely on these roads when leaving a country that featured left side highway driving.

Baseball Hits Car Window

Monday, October 19th, 2009

Our son plays baseball with the school team.  While our car was parked in the parking lot, one of the kids on the other team decided he was going to practice his batting skills and hit a ball right into someones windshield.  It’s a good thing there was no one in the car at the time.  They called auto glass phoenix and they responded right away and were able to replace the windshield right there in the parking lot.  By the time the baseball game was over, the person’s windshield was all fixed. The people’s insurance company was able to cover the replacement, so there was no out of pocket expense.  The boy that hit the ball is no longer on the team, but the people who had their windshield cracked accepted the boy’s apology.

A gas powered scooter is a cost effective vehicle

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

A gas powered scooter is a welcome alternative to the traditional scooters that are powered with the scarce fuel. It is also cheaper to operate when compared to other vehicles running on standard fuel. While selecting amongst the different designs and models of the gas powered scooters, it is very important that the buyer gives due importance to gas consumption and mileage offered by the scooter as it is going to effect the running cost of the scooter purchaser. Various market research on such vehicles have revealed that it is an affordable proposition on many counts especially it reduces monetary expenses on account of fuel charges and requires low maintenance costs as well.

Honda Glasgow Dealership

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

When it comes to making important, life altering choices, I ineveitably always run the risk of making a complete catastrophe of the situation. I cannot remember any point in my life were I have looked back and though “oh, actually, yeah, that was a good choice and it came with no negative repercussions whatsoever”.

That is until I considered buying a Honda Accord from my local Honda Glasgow dealership. I couldn’t see any way that I was going to end up regretting such an easy decision. The Honda Accord is a great car and I don’t know anyone who doesn’t think it would be a great choice.

Choosing The Right Car Insurance Need Not Be Boring Task

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

It is important that when you are in the market for auto insurance, that you are sufficiently informed and can make the right choice for your policy. Choosing The Right Car Insurance need not be a boring task, as vehicle insurance is what can protect you in the unfortunate case of an auto accident. Everyone who drives needs an insurance policy, and so each driver should have enough information about auto insurance, to always make an informed decision as to not only what type of coverage their policy offers, but also how much their premium will be and how long the policy lasts, as well as when it expires.

Everybody Can Save On Car Insurance

Monday, August 17th, 2009

There are ways to lower your auto insurance premiums, no matter what your age and driving record.  Of course there are some people that will always save more than others, but everybody can take steps to save on car insurance.  If your rates are high due to your driving record, make the effort to improve that record.  If you have a low deductible, consider raising it.  This will save money on your monthly premiums, but you will have to pay  out of pocket if  you do have an accident.  Many people go through life with a low deductible and never even file a claim.  No matter what your circumstance is, you can find ways to save.

Checklist in buying used motorhome 3

Saturday, August 15th, 2009

Another thing to check when buying a used motor home is the soft spots in the flooring especially in the bathroom and kitchen areas. These could be symptoms of a much larger problem. The unit may have leaky supply pipes or drains that are causing the wood to rot. Check the skin on the outside of the unit. Look for bubbles. Although cosmetic, you’re probably dealing with a corrosion issue. These can be resolved, but will involve removal of paint, treatment of the affected area, and repainting. Sounds expensive to me.

If it has a gas engine, then I highly recommend you carefully inspect the engine records. A good owner will have kept receipts of all engine maintenance. It would even behoove you to have the engine looked over by a trusted mechanic. And finally, do a THOROUGH walk-through. Open and close everything. Turn everything on and off. Be suspicious and take notes as you walk through the rig, and at least you’ll go into the purchase with your head up.

Cheap Suzuki Quality

Friday, August 14th, 2009

I have really had enough of people bad mouthing Cheap Suzuki cars. Just because they are more affordable than the majority of other cars is not an indicator of quality. I have owned a Cheap Suzuki Swift for a while now and have not experienced this kind of quality for a great deal time.

I would happily recommend the Cheap Suzuki Swift to anybody who wants a robust quality car but doesn’t want to pay through the nose for it. The Suzuki Swift just represents great quality for money that is so rare to find in the automotive industry these days.

S40 T5 turbocharged engine

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

The T5 version’s turbocharged engine is wonderfully smooth, and it gets a moderate power increase for 2008 to 227 peak horsepower. Acceleration is quick and linear and the power band is broad, so the engine enthusiastically finds more speed no matter how fast you’re already going. At 80 miles per hour it’s only loafing along at 2500 rpm, so there’s a lot of power to spare and pleasant, quiet cruising to boot. The T5 is comfortable at high speed, very stable and relaxed, which we learned on some wide-open California desert roads. It’s stable at 100 mph and doesn’t even feel like a front-wheel-drive car. With plenty of power on tap, the electronically controlled five-speed automatic decides quickly which gear it needs and shifts down smoothly when you step on the gas.
