Fast Acai Recipes with Yogurt

This is one of the fastest acai recipes you will find. It is simple to make and super delicious! First take some plain yogurt or vanilla flavored yogurt if you prefer. Empty the yogurt into a small bowl.

Take pre-washed fresh acai berries or acai paste and ad to the yogurt mixture and stir together until well combined. Spoon the mixture into decorative dessert dishes and sprinkle with crumbled cookies (Nilla cookies work well) or granola.

The acai berries will add huge flavor to the plain yogurt and also add antioxidants and vitamins making this a healthy dessert for all.

When you set your fat loss goals you should keep in mind what your current weight loss program is capable of. I began having back pain when I was in college. I don’t know the exact cause, but, at times, I was in pain. One day, I was having a conversation with my aunt, and she told me that she also had back pain and was prescribed a series of back exercises by her treating physician. I was intrigued, so I asked her if she would make me a copy of the exercises so I could try them. Amazingly, within a few times of performing the exercises that my aunt gave me, my back pain began to miraculously subside. Now, I no longer experience pain in my back.

Tip #1

One of the biggest mistakes people with acid reflux make is eating late in the evening.  In fact, doctors suggest that those who suffer with night time acid reflux or indigestion should not eat up to three hours before they plan to go bed.

Tip #2

Not every person who suffers from acid reflux has a hiatal hernia, but most who have a hiatal hernia do suffer from acid reflux.  The effect of a hiatal hernia on acid reflux is not known for sure, but it is generally assumed that hiatal hernias do have something to do with gastroesophageal reflux disease.  It is important to understand how the lower esophageal sphincter, or LES, relates to the condition called acid reflux because a hiatal hernia does affect the LES, which in turn causes acid reflux.

Tip #3

To relieve the burning sensations caused by acid reflux, you can use antacids as a short term relief, even though they don’t offer much long term relief.

Tip #4

If you must eat at a fast food restaurant even though it is best avoided if you suffer with acid reflux, then choose their grilled options, like grilled chicken. The most inappropriate choices are fries and burgers.  In addition, fried chicken is not that great for you as well. 

Tip #5

If your acid reflux and heartburn is worse at night, try raising the head of the bed. That way your esophagus is higher up than your stomach and less acid would trickle back up the wrong way. But before you start chopping off two legs of the bed, or put bricks under two others, adding another pillow or two could do the trick too.

Tip #6

The most popular and largely used drug for this disease is PPI (Proton Pump Inhibitors), this is the drug which is generally prescribed by the doctors for relief from the pains causing due to the attacks of Acid Reflux. PPI helps in stopping the production of the acidic contents in the stomach which pushes into esophagus and cause acid reflux.

Tip #7

Everyone loves a big and hearty meal, but the traditional American Family dinners may not be the best thing for the acid reflux sufferers.  Instead of waiting for a large family meal to send you into the evening or a big lunch to help overcome the rest of the business day, try eating smaller and more frequent meals to alleviate the acid reflux problem.  With less food to distend the stomach and less work required by the stomach for the stomach to be emptied, the chances of an episode of acid reflux occurring will drop considerably.

Tip #8

With the incision the doctor will enter and begin pulling any hiatal hernial sac below the diaphragm and stitching it there.  This causes the diaphragm to tighten around the esophagus and wrap around the upper stomach to form an artificial lower esophageal sphincter.  All of this will then cause the acid to be adequately taken care of in the system without the symptoms of acid reflux disease being suffered.  No major incision will be needed in the process and the patient should immediately see a difference.

Getting Dental Insurance Isn’t Always Easy

For years I worked for an employer who offered great medical benefits but never included dental insurance.  And those were the days my children were young.

I was a single mother so, when any of us had a dental emergency, I had to work out a payment plan with the dentist.  It seemed that I spent all of my extra money paying off bills for fillings and cleanings.

Eventually I got a job with a company that provided excellent dental insurance.  Although I wasn’t crazy about the job, I stayed there fourteen years so that I could keep my coverage.  My Dental Plan saved me thousands of dollars.

I left that company when the boys grew up but I was grateful to them for all of the benefits I’d enjoyed.  I couldn’t have afforded the expensive medical and dental treatments we’d had otherwise.
