Confidence in list building

Thursday, November 20th, 2008

As soon as I paid for the course from Big List Bucks I started to download it and watch the streamed videos. The more I watched them the clearer the concepts became.  I was actually learning the how to’s of email list building.  What had appeared to be a black abyss was now as clear a country spring.  It was something that I now had the knowledge and the skills to do and I knew that my earlier concerns about my business were going to be replaced with confidence.  Now that I have been trained I sincerely believe that it is something that anyone can do.

Acer Aspire One, Meet Heaven On Earth & Less Than Half The Size And Weight

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

We recently bought an acer aspire one, and it’s been around for 7 days now, and it’s been very difficult to put down and walk away from. Obviously the weight & size of it is a huge factor, but also because the six cell battery lasts so long that I feel like I can just leave it on for a while without needing to keep switching it off or charging it few minutes. Also, powering up and shutdown times are a lot faster than my regular PC.

I am in heaven with my new Acer Aspire One, and am permanently amazed at what it is able to do.

Pioneer HDTV Reviews Helped Me Make A Decision

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

On a whim I decided to go into the electronics store I was passing and look at their HDTVS. When I started looking at the televisions, I became quite overwhelmed. To make it worse, the store was very crowded with shoppers, and all the sales associates were too busy to answer any questions I might have had. I browsed around and found a Pioneer tv that I liked. However, I did not know anything about the brand. I left the store and went home to look up some HDTV Reviews. After reading ten or fifteen pages of reviews about the tv I was interested in, I decided to go back to the store and purchase it.

Plasma or LCD?

Monday, November 17th, 2008

I recently bought a Plasma HDTV, I was originally shopping for an LCD HDTV however. I stumbled upon an awesome deal on a Panasonic 42″ HDTV plasma screen and I just had to snag it. Many people shy away from plasmas says HDMI Cables. Plasmas give the best picture quality hands down. The blacks and colors are so much deeper and more realistic. While LCDs are great out of the box the Plasma requires a break in period. Plasmas today are not the plasmas that were first released. They have come a long way in a short period of time and still do give the best picture quality.

It is time to start shopping for Christmas gifts!

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Well, Christmas is just around the corner, and with less than two months until that gift giving, ripping, smashing, day comes around, I am having to really focus and start shopping for christmas gifts. I know that for some people this is not a particularly difficult task. But, for me, with four children and 14 (yes, that is right) nieces and nephews (not to mention their parents, my parents, etc), I am often at a loss for what to purchase. Some are easier than others, like my father, for whom any gadget will do, but for the most part, no one knows what they want until they receive something they don’t want LOL.

The Nikon D40 Digital: An Awesome Example Of A Camera.

Friday, November 14th, 2008

My father and older brother have always been the photographers in the family.

I never was.

In fact, up until a few weeks ago, I’d never taken a photo with anything except a simple point and shoot camera.

There were no fancy lenses or aperture settings to learn. I left all that up to my dad and brother.

It wasn’t until I got married and started having children that I realized how cool taking pictures could be.

I still don’t have the awesome setup other people may have but my nikon-d40-digital-slr camera is so cool and easy to use, I don’t need much else.

There are a few accessories here and there, but for the most part, this camera is the bomb.

My very first job.

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

AS I took the photos on my nikon-d60-cameras, I looked at the back to preview the pictures and I could not believe how vibrant the colors were. I love this camera. I knew that it would bring me great success. When I took the photos to have them developed the woman behind the counter told me that she had never seen such beautiful pictures before. She told me as well that it looked like you were looking straight into an HD television. I told her that I would value her opinion on them considering that I was a photography professional and that this was my very first job.

iPhone Developers on Demand

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008

The unprecedented success of the iPhone has provided a huge market for developers. The iPhone has just about cemented itself on the mainstream and the success of the SDK program has encouraged many corporations to start looking at this platform. iPhone News has reported that demand for iPhone developers has gone up nearly 400%. Stanford University has already begun to teach courses on development for the iPhone and many young people are already setting up their own studios. The simplicity and limited capabilities of the iPhone may mean that it is actually much more practical to develop for it than say compete against development teams that number in the thousands for big platforms such as computers.

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Not to be out done by the Wii, Sony has been preparing itself for a controller war against Nintendo. The latest leaked schematics that Sony is currently trying to patent include a break apart controller that will reportedly provide for a far greater range of movement and capabilities than the Wii remote. PS3 Blog has a few leaked images and some basic specs. The unnamed controller will use the functionality of the playstation eye and ultrasonic waves all in its analysis of the player. This is supposed to provide for a more accurate picture in 3D than the wii remote.

Investing in Solar Panels

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

Solar panels have been at work in our country for years.  They have never been fully realized for their potential in the private market because of the high cost of installing them.  The beauty of them is, they pay for themselves.  Considering the high price of fuel, it is imperative to find the best gas saving products available.  Solar power is top of the line, efficient power that uses the energy of the sun.  The good news is, even if global warming continues, your power to you air conditioner will only build as the sun gets hotter.  It is a great piece of technology that I think you will love.
