The next obvious step for Nintendo to take the Nintendo DS to is movies. If Nintendo has anything to fear about the Apple iPhone is the Apple iPhone’s ability to play videos. If the Nintendo DS had the ability play videos, it would most likely increase sales. I am pretty sure there is some sort of third party application that will allow you to play videos through the r4ds, but Nintendo has to work on a official application. From there, they would be able to control the content and be able to sign with studios to feature movies on the DS.
