A Company’s Alcohol Testing Program Causes an Employee to Worry
Michael was really depressed. The metal fabricating company he worked for began testing for alcohol last week. Why is this a problem? Michael drinks very heavily. In fact, he gets drunk at least three or four times per week. Michael is depressed because he knows that he will probably fail any kind of alcohol test that he is given. And if he fails an alcohol test, he could lose his job. If jobs were easy to come by, losing his employment at the fabricating company would not be such a big deal. But due to the poor economy Michael was fearful that if he lost his current job, he would probably be unemployed for quite some time.
