Caloric Intake And Muscle Mass
My calorie count is much less than what most formulas give me. I tend to put on weight pretty easily, so I put on a good amount of fat when I first started Sean’s Muscle Gain Truth program because I went straight up with the formula given. I have since cut back somewhat, to the point now where I am still making strength gains, putting on muscle, but losing about .5% of body fat each week (I’ve gone from 28% to 26.5%). It’s all trial and error, and unless you eat exactly the same every week, and you expound the exact amount of energy each week (which is impossible), your progress will fluctuate. Some weeks I don’t gain as much strength as I want, but my body fat goes down; other weeks I have great strength gains, but my bf % stays the same. You just have to find what works for you.
