I remember the pain. I remember it well, in fact, because it was so intense.Stabbed me in my back with a sharp, pointed pain that had a sort of glow about it. It was a strange pain that I’d never felt before.Like most men would, I winced and tried to get on with life. Did some stretching exercises that appeared to do some good, and continued cleaning the car.When I went indoors later, and shamefacedly told me good wife what had happened, she had a different reaction. I was instructed in no uncertain terms to get to a medical professional! Well, that was the weekend, so I had to wait for the professional and by the time Monday arrived I was totally agreeing with my wife’s suggestion. I saw the physio in our neighborhood as early in the morning as she could find an available appointment slot. And within a few days she had fixed me with simple exercises.that time I was lucky. I am not looking forward to having a seriously herniated disc and having to line up for herniated disc treatment. The pain is going to be quite something, going by the minor episode I had. And the treatment for a properly herniated disc is going to be more expensive and longer.
