I recently became ill. I was in the hospital and unable to work. I was happy I had sickness insurance. The insurance paid a specified amount each day that I was int he hospital. It replaced the income that I was losing from being off work, so I was able to pay all of my bills, despite the fact that I was not working. I don’t know what I would have done without it. It is important to have health insurance, but I think it is equally important to have insurance that covers in the even t of illness.
