My Mom’s Hair Loss
My mom has just started going through menopause and she noticed that she was losing some hair. The doctor told my mom that some hair loss during this time is normal because of the fluctuating hormone levels. However, he cautioned her that in some cases the hair loss does not stop when menopause ends, but continues even longer. In that case he said that there were ways to stop the loss and regrow hair, but that she needed to wait until her hormones were back into normal levels. He told her that it may take a couple of years but to try not too worry too much.
