What Are Pre Existing Medical Condition?
If you are looking for health insurance then you may be concerned that you will be penalized for a pre existing condition and so be anxious to look for specific medical insurance for pre existing conditions. But just what do we mean when we talk about pre existing conditions?
Each insurance company will have its own set of rules but, in general, a pre existing condition will be any illness, sickness, disease, injury or other physical or mental medical disorder which exists at the time of application for medical insurance or during a previous time period as specified by the individual insurer. The important thing to remember here however is that each insurance company will view different condition from their own perspective and so just because one insurer treats a conditions harshly, this does not mean that all insurers will adopt the same attitude.
