When negotiating charges with Architect Scotland , you may have a choice to use only a part of their service or a ‘full service’. If your financial position doesn’t permit the service of the designer, she or he could be ready to give you recommendation and concepts on a hourly basis. The services of a designer is not firm and most will be prepared to taper services to fit your needs wishes or budget. A full architectural service includes : consultation, design and sketch plans, working drawings for local council approval, construction drawings, getting approval from the council, sourcing and designating contractors and site management.
