Regulating the Electrician Trade

In countries all over the world, including the United States, the electrician trade is subject to much regulation. Licensure is but one way governments regulate this very important trade. In many countries, apprenticeships and a lot of practical training is required before one is even allowed to take an  Electrician  licensure exam. Licenses are of course are a function of government regulation. It is just right that the trade is regulated as there is a lot of potential for danger to home and properties when there is no proper regulation. This is electrical systems we are dealing with after all, and electricity can be a very lethal force.
