Remember, if you are interested in purchasing technical analysis software for your computer — which will allow you to evaluate market trends and make investment decisions — that all of these software packages rely on one type of database or another, where all of the raw data is stored. In part, the value of such computer software is determined by the quality of the data stored in its database. This is why you should try to determine the source of the information used by your particular application — who has put this data together? Do they have a reputation for doing quality work and providing reliable information?
