Turning My Invitation Down
Years ago I invited my friend to one of our church activities and he said, “I don’t want to go to one of your gay mormon things!” Very kind way to decline. Not. He had never tried any of our activities, so I don’t know he determined that it was a gay mormon thing other than the fact that it wouldn’t have any alcohol to aid him in getting wasted. I didn’t invite him to anything after that and we parted ways. He was getting more and more disrespectful in general. Last I heard he had joined the army.
