RFID technology
What is RFID technology? This is a new technology that is actually quite fascinating and useful. To put it into perspective let me take you through one use of this. When you go to a home improvement store and purchase a bunch of flowers and plants, some bark and solid their tends to be a tedious process of looking for the barcodes to scan into the register. With RFID tags this same barcode doubles as an antenna and transmits the barcode numbers when a magnetic field is introduced (specific kind). In this same scenario with all products RFID tag enabled the entire cart could be scanned at once and rung up instantly! No need to scan the products because they are all transmitting at their unique frequencies!
